My Day at Anime North 2007!

Yup! I finally went to another anime convention! >w< MUAHAHAHA! //ahem// Here's how the day went! >w< :
In the morning I had to went to my tutor's from 9 am to 10 am. I've sent Allen the address to the place but it seemed that the link did not work. D: So I had to wait for around another half hour. >_> But he came in his sister's blue Acura which had Hello Kitty here and there. xD We've talked, where I mainly asked the questions like about university and anime.
After we reached to the Toronto Congress Centre and the line was MASSIVE! Luckily Lindsey and Natasha was there earlier. They were there since 10:30 am when we came around an hour later. They stood there for an hour and was only halfway. ._.;; So me and Allen slid right in which cut us an hour short! =DD There were many cosplayers so I took a few camera sneak shots. xDDD I was too shy to ask them to pose for me so I would just sneak shots. xDDD Once we paid, me and Allen departed from Lindsey and Natasha.
We first started at the Artist Alley where I could not decide what I should buy. So then we went into the Dealer's Room and took a look around. I purchased an artbook which was only five bucks! ^0^ It was a sweet deal I'll say.
We then left to the Doubletree Hotel where there was ADVs and games. But we didn't stay. (Which I now totally regret. ;0; ) I took a picture of a few cosplayers eating ice cream in the basement without them knowing. xD; (Another sneak attack!)
We quickly left to Tim Hortons where Allen bought me a sandwich combo. I adored a double chocolate donut, french vanilla, and ham and swiss sandwich. But they thought I wanted french vanilla coffee so gave me that instead! DD< I didn't notice that till we left to eat by the car. It was bad at first (since I don't drink nor like coffee) but I got used to it. We went into the Congress Centre to finish eating. I then went to the Dealer's Room where I accidentally poured the coffee onto my shirt and pants. Luckily it was light so it wasn't so bad. But man, the guy that worked there was so rude and didn't let me cut through to the washroom so I can wash my hands but instead he told me to go around while he let everyone else through. DDD< Biotch... And it happened again when I went out. He let others in and out, but oh no, not me! D< HE SHOULD BE FIRED FOR RUDENESS!
Anyway, after that I went and purchased myself some mangas. 5 for $20. x33 But the first time I was there, it had all of Pita-Ten (which was earlier before I left to the hotel), but afterwards, the first few volumes were gone! D: So instead, I got DearS #1-3; Kanpai! #1; and Angel Cup #1 (where this volume I accidentally got it ripped alittle cause I stuffed it in my overcrowded bag. D: After I went to the Artist's Alley and purchased a piece of art by one of a great deviantart artist for $5 >w< I was too cheap to get the large one for $10. ._.;;
So pretty much I kept going back and forth in the centre being very indecisive. So at the end I got myself a bookmark from another deviantart artist for a dollar and a cute card from the same artist I bought the pic earlier for $5. OH! And I've met the artist of DramaCon and asked for her autograph! >w< But Allen bought me the second volume because he he said if you are a fan, you should support the artist and purchase something. ._.;;
And after me and Allen left home with a friend of Allen's because he needed a ride. And lucky Allen, he went to Pirates of the Caribeans 3 afterwards. (Oh, I took this amazing cosplay pic of a girl dressing up as Jack Sparrow!! She was with another girl who did Elizabeth Swann but it wasn't as great. >o< Lol, and I actually asked for her to posed cause it's one of the rare moments I was willing to open my mouth. Though I've missed a bunch of amazing ones. ;-;)
Lol, I've even collected a bunch of cards from artists. xD I wanna cosplay next time!! Gothic Lolita style but I don't think I'll ever be allowed to purchase. ._. Unless I work this summer? =O Oh and there were so many anime nerds that it was DDD: Just my the way they talk and go crazy after one of the artist ish scary. ;o;
